Aging is Weird

I find growing old to be a mixed bag.

I like the senior citizen discounts.

I like not having bad hair days.

I don't like looking in the mirror and seeing a long hair on the side of my nose (I swear it grew overnight)

I don’t like it when strangers calling me young man. I know I am not young, so why do they say that? I also don’t like it when people say I sure look good—good compared to what?

How should I feel about that polite little girl who rushed to hold the door open for me?

And then there was that time I was chatting up a young women and she said " I bet you used to be good looking
